He was married to Anne PURCEL (daughter of James PURCEL) on 1 March 1858 in Ballysheehan church, Co. Tipperary. Witnesses to marriage were Joseph Wilson and William Cross Anne PURCEL was living on 1 March 1858 in Erry, Cashel, Co Tipperary.
