Admiral A. A. C. Parr.The death took place yesterday, at Folkestone of Admiral Alfred Arthur Chase Parr, in his 65th year.
Admiral Parr, who entered the Navy in 1863 served in the Arctic Expedition 1875-76, and as commander of the Inconstant took part in the Egyptian War, 1882. He attained flag rank in 1905 and retired in the following year, being promoted to Admiral on the retired list in 1908. He was an A.D.C. to Queen Victoria and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
