| Tu 5 February 1856 | The paddlewheel steamer Ardent, Commander Hubert Campion, arrived yesterday morning at Woolwich from the Black Sea Her term of commission having expired, she will be paid off and docked for repairs. The Ardent was engaged from the 24th of May to the 21st of November in the Sea of Azoff in the destruction of Russian forage and grain and in sinking and destroying vessels. She left Kertch on the 2Oth of December, Kazatch the 2d of January, and Constantinople on the 4th. | ||
